Way back in 1988 I began my career with New Driver by first training as a PDI before fully qualifiying as an ADI. 25 years later I am the Managing Director of a fleet of instructors across the south of England. I have used my experience in the trade to help driving instructors increase their income and career progression.
Train with us
We would love to help you become a driving instructor. The process is quite simple. As long as you have held a full licence for over 4 years and have less than 6 points on your licence - you can do it! We provide everything you need to qualify, from reading material to your own dedicated trainer.

There are three ‘parts’ to becoming a driving instructor. We have provided you with an overview and how we will help you pass each stage.
Part I: Theory
The first part is the theory test. We will provide you with the ADI starter pack and official text books as recommended by the DVSA.
Part II: Driving Technique
The second part is a driving test. We provide 10 hours one-to-one in car sessions with your dedicated trainer, covering all elements of the driving technique syllabus.
Part III: Instructional Ability
This examines your ability to teach others to drive. We provide a further 20 hours in-car practical sessions with your dedicated trainer, covering all elements of the instructional ability syllabus, with an additional 20 hours home study.
